Hill to make first career start at the Charlotte

Austin Hill welcomes Treezyn Camo aboard his No. 02 Ford F-150 this weekend as he prepares for his career first start at the 1.5-mile speedway just outside of Charlotte, N.C. Looking to keep up his initial momentum as he enters his third NASCAR Camping World Truck Series race of the season, Hill and team participated in the NASCAR open test in early May, to better prepare for Friday nights battle under the lights.

This Week’s Austin Hill Racing Ford at Charlotte … Austin Hill will pilot chassis No. 012 from the Young’s Motorsports stable. After racing the Ford in several races during the 2016 season, Hill and team reworked the truck from the ground-up during the offseason.

Hill at Charlotte… Hill will be making his first career start a the famed 1.5-mile speedway in NCWTS. He has previously competed in the INEX Banderlero Series Summer Shootout on the front stretch track.

With TREEZYN don’t just blend…become… Hill is pleased to announce Treezyn Camo has joined the he and the team as the official camo supplier for the remainder of the 2017 racing season. After 20 years of study, Trrezyn allows you to become any environment of your choice, by thinking outside the current industry standard. Using bigger, bolder, more contrasting elements and textures, Treezyn disguises the most recognized silhouette on the planet…yours.

Calling the Shots … Calling the shots from atop the Young’s Motorsports pit box this weekend will be veteran crew chief Bruce Cook. Cook, a staple in the NASCAR Xfinity Series and NASCAR Camping World Truck Series garage joined the team beginning with Hill’s last race at Martinsville Speedway.

Team Work Makes the Dream Work… Hill and his crew will travel to Toledo Speedway in Toledo, O.H. immediately following the conclusion of Friday nights NASCAR Camping World Truck Series event.  The team will provide support for Chad Finley and the No. 51 Chad Finley Racing car as they compete in the ARCA Racing Series Sunday afternoon.

Up in the Sky … Calling the shots high above Atlanta Motor Speedway this weekend will be two-time Concord Speedway NASCAR LMSC Champion and current NASCAR Monster Energy Cup Series spotter, Mike Herman Jr. Hill and Herman previously worked together throughout his NASCAR K&N Pro Series East career.

AUSTIN HILL QUOTE:

“While Atlanta (Motor Speedway) has always been considered my home track, I have been living outside of Charlotte (N.C.) for a few years, so it will be a great experience to finally race at the speedway. Our Young’s Motorsports guys have been working extra hard over these last few weeks, including going to the NASCAR test, to make sure we are ready to compete for the checkered flag this Friday. We are also excited to welcome Treezyn Camo aboard our team from the remainder of the season. They have a totally new and unique camo pattern that I cannot wait to try out as hunting season nears.”
