About Austin Hill Racing

Austin Hill has one focus for the 2020 season: the NASCAR Gander RV & Outdoors Truck Series championship. The 26-year old Winston, GA native had a breakout season in 2019 during his first campaign behind the wheel of Hattori Racing Enterprises’ No. 16 Toyota Tundra. Hill exploded out of the gate with his first-career Gander Trucks win in the season opener at Daytona International Speedway, earned his first-career playoff berth, and rattled off four victories which tied him for most in the series. The performance in ’19 has him positioned as one of the Gander Trucks title favorites in 2020.

Hill started his racing career at the age of six in Quarter Midgets and won the 2002 Quarter Midget championship at his home track in Cumming, G.A. before moving on to excel in the Bandolero, Legends Series and Pro Late Model Series. Hill and his family escalated his career by constructing their own team in the NASCAR K&N Pro Series East and earned five victories and one pole award in three seasons, along with 13 top-five, 24 top-10 finishes.

Hill currently resides in Catawba, N.C. with his wife Ashlyn and daughters Lynnlee and Kenslee.
